Lip Augmentation

Lip Fillers

Fuller Lips, Defined Beauty

Lip Augmentation adds symmetry, adds volume and helps with wrinkles and fine lines around the mouth.

  • Multiple packages available.

    Treatment duration (1 Hour)

Our lips are a defining facial feature, so it is important that they are symmetric, well-balanced and have a volume that suits your face shape.

  • Our fillers contain Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a natural occurring sugar found in the body – meaning lip augmentations are an affordable way to replicate the function of this naturally occurring substance restoring volume to your lips.

  • Lip augmentation not only adds symmetry and volume, but also helps those who suffer from wrinkles and fine lines in and around the mouth area.

  • What lip augmentation product do you use?

We offer a range of products that are most suited to you. At your complimentary consultation, the Cosmetic Injector can openly talk discuss with you regarding which market leading, premium products are most suited to you.

    Does lip augmentation hurt?

Pain is such a subjective thing and everyone will have a varied pain threshold.
A prescription numbing cream will be applied to your lips prior to your treatment to reduce any discomfort. Volume Replacement into the lips can be described as a slight pinch and you may experience some slight pressure and a ‘stinging’ sensation as the product is injected. The Volume Replacement also has a numbing agent added to the product so this adds to reducing your discomfort level. If you have any concerns or queries, please make a complimentary appointment at Amanda Fritz Aesthetics to discuss these with your Cosmetic Injector.

What will my lips look like post lip augmentation treatment?

Lip augmentation results are visible immediately post treatment. You may experience some swelling and bruising which may last anywhere from 1-5 days, however it is normal to experience swelling for up to 2 weeks. During this period, your lips may look ‘uneven’. It takes up to 4 weeks for volume replacement to intergrade into the tissues, where you will have a review appointment with your Cosmetic Injector to review your results.

‘Lumps & bumps’ are common and are usually a result of the swelling & bruising and should resolve over time. You are welcome to gently massage any lumps and bumps you feel with clean hands from 48 hours post treatment.

Your Cosmetic Injector will discuss with you at your appointment our recommendations for reducing post treatment side effects, what to expect and provide with you with after care instructions. You will also be provided with your Cosmetic Injectors mobile phone number to contact should you experience any undesired side effects post treatment which will also be discussed at your appointment.

Is there anything I need to do in preparation?

It is recommended to avoid any strenuous activity and heavy alcohol intake 24 hours prior to your appointment as these can increase the risk of inflammation and bruising. All injectable treatments carry the risk of bruising and swelling however to reduce this risk, please avoid the following; taking any anti-inflammatories, fish oil, aspirin, herbal remedies, ginseng, St John’s Wort etc.

How long does a lip augmentation last?

Lip volume replacement can last between 6-12 months dependent on product choice (thin vs thick filler) the amount of product used and also how quickly your body metabolises the product. All volume replacement used at Amanda Fritz Aesthetics are premium, market leading products.

Do you dissolve at your clinic?

Yes. It is preferred that you go back to the clinic you were originally treated at to discuss your concerns directly with your Cosmetic Injector, however if this is not an option or you are uncomfortable to do so, please contact Amanda Fritz Aesthetics to make a complimentary consultation.
